The month of September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and Dublin Hyundai is proud to say that we are one of the 820 Hyundai dealers involved in the fight to end childhood cancer. Hyundai Hope on Wheels is a national independent non-profit organization that is committed to finding a cure for childhood cancer. Hope on Wheels created a new grant category called the Hyundai Scholar Hope Grant, a competitively selected two-year $250,000 award. Recipients of the Hope Grant are selected from the best institutions. In just four short years, these Hope Grants have already funded incredible research projects. Many of these projects have led to the discovery of new treatments for children. This organization has already funded $87 million in pediatric cancer research in the United States.
Our signature symbol is a hand print, because every little hand is distinctive in its own way—no hand print is the same. One child’s milestone is another child’s hope. Help Dublin Hyundai and other Hyundai dealerships fight this fight by visiting Hyundai Hope on Wheels’ website.

There are a lot of great sedans out there—but there is only one that is exceptional. The 2014 Hyundai Elantra takes on the competition, and it takes the lead by a long shot. For 2014, J.D. Power Initial Quality Study ranked Elantra the highest among all vehicles in the Compact Class. The design and expertise that goes into every Elantra definitely deserves the attention it’s gotten.
Elantra sedan’s total interior volume is bigger than other compact sedans, so the EPA classifies it as a midsize vehicle. That means more room for you, your friends, your pets, and all of your stuff. From its comprehensive Vehicle Stability Management (VSM) system to its 6 airbags, this sedan has standard features that help keep you and your passengers safe at all times. And that’s a big deal! Not only that, the Elantra has earned a 2014 5-Star Overall Safety Rating from NHTSA and an IIHS Top Safety Pick for 2014. But, the cherry on top of everything is this: The Elantra’s EPA-estimated 38 MPG Highway and safety ratings are huge benefits! If you’re still not convinced, just make sure the compact you choose has standard Driver Selectable Steering Mode (DSSM), SiriusXM Satellite Radio, heated exterior mirrors, and cruise control—they’re all standard in the Elantra!
Here at Dublin Hyundai, we have 35 different Elantras that will win you over. We have this amazing model in phantom black, sea blue, bronze, gray, silver, deep red and pearl white. We’ll help you pick what’s right one for you, and prove to all customers that Dublin Hyundai is Doin’ It Right!

Summer will soon be coming to an end, and drivers will have to make some adjustments. Nearly 1.3 million people die in automobile accidents a year—that’s 3,287 fatal crashes a day. For obvious reasons, most car accidents happen during fog, rain, and snow. Making sure that your vehicle has tools and safety equipment can really save you from unpredictable weather. Here are some simple car care tips that could end up saving a life!
Windshield wipers are very important during the cold and rainy seasons. Be sure to have extra windshield wiper fluid in your car somewhere. Before heading out on a wet day, check to see if your wipers are leaving streaks of dirt that could impair your sight of the road. Checking for split rubber is also important—if the rubber is wearing out, chances are the wipers are not doing a very good job of clearing precipitation. Drivers should also make it a habit to at least have half a tank of gas before a long drive; you wouldn’t want to be stranded in harsh conditions. Although it may sound a bit extreme, everyone should keep drinking water, some food, and a first aid kit in their car. You know what they say, prepare for the worst but expect the best.
It is very important to drive as safe as possible in stormy circumstances. Regardless of the posted speed limit, your speed should depend on the surface of the road (wet, wide, narrow) and the weather, according to the California Department of Motor Vehicles. So if you are driving 45 miles per hour on the highway on an extremely foggy day, you could be cited for driving "too fast for conditions." Give yourself extra space from the car in front of you, and accelerate/brake lightly. This can prevent inconvenient little fender-benders.
Dublin Hyundai wants to remind you that as fun as driving may be, we want you drive as safe as possible this cold season. Check out our Service Specials where we have coupons for loyal customers that include discounts on front/rear brake service, lube/oil/filter change, tire rotation, and more

Here at Dublin Hyundai, we understand that commuting back and forth every day isn’t exactly what most people wish for. What could potentially be a nice peaceful drive to and from work is ruined by construction, traffic, bridge tolls and of course, gas prices. We are happy to announce that we have a vehicle that will make your daily commute more pleasant, and most importantly more affordable.
The 2014 Hyundai Sonata is truly the perfect commuter car. It’s elegant and slick exterior and 274 horsepower captures the attention of drivers immediately—but it’s incredible fuel-efficiency is definitely the deal maker. It’s an IIHS Top Safety Pick while gaining 35 miles per gallon on the highway. What better way to commute than to drive safely and safe a ton on gas? We offer 48 different Sonatas at Dublin Hyundai, and would love for you to come down for a test drive. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain!

When it comes to buying a new car, there are more than enough options. Hyundais are built around safety, which sets them apart from all competitors. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is dedicated to finding ways to make driving safer. Hyundai decided to take whatever the NHTSA had to say to heart, and invested in top-of-the-line vehicle safety features.
Skidding instead of stopping causes millions of fender-benders a day. So Hyundai decided to add anti-lock brakes and electronic brake-force distribution to all vehicles for extra stopping power. To assure your safety, Hyundai has also added ways to make the moment of impact from an accident less severe. These features include front and rear crumple zones, which work together to absorb the impact and protect all passengers. There are also active head restraints that move up and forward to avoid whiplash. Hyundai also added not one, not two, three, or four, but nine airbags that inflate from the dashboard, doors, seats, and even the roof to guarantee drivers’ safety.
If you’re looking to make your commute as safe as possible, come to Dublin Hyundai and let us assist you in searching for a Hyundai that is perfect for you! We’re always Doin’ It Right!
